We are looking for a Product Manager for our Asia Pacific Business Unit (BU).
As part of our Marketing Team based in Australia, you will be responsible for supporting commercial activities through successful training, promotion and adaptation of marketing campaigns that contribute to the achievement of Stago’s global financial and strategic objectives taking place across Australia and New Zealand as well as the Asia Pacific Distribution Network.
Profile
Your main responsibilities will be to:
- Support the implementation of the Marketing Plan for the BU including the launch of new products and effectively guide the positioning of our products based on the targeted customers and recommendations from Global Marketing
- Support commercial activities through successful training and adaptation of marketing campaigns and materials as provided by Global Marketing and/or design your own
- Support events and activities to develop brand and product awareness within the BU area
- Ensure the company’s image continues to be supported by strong scientific evidence and build strong partnerships and relationships with Key Opinion Leaders within the BU
- Support the ANZ sales team to Promote products, solutions and services with technical advice, scientific knowledge and commercial positioning as required
- Support the overall Sales Strategy and coordinate the Marketing actions directly with the Sales teams in ANZ for our direct customers and with the Hong Kong Office for the APAC Distributors
- Align the Marketing & Sales actions with the needs of the customers and prospects
- Analyse information from multiple sources to develop an in-depth knowledge of the Haemostasis and Haematology markets to identify and monitor market needs, market trends, competitors’ activities and sales figures
Who we are looking for?
- We are looking for a passionate commercially minded Product Manager with a strong knowledge in ANZ IVD market and solid experience in Sales and Marketing. The candidate should have:
- a degree in Science or equivalent, and ideally an additional Business or Marketing Degree or a strong track record in Sales and Marketing in the In vitro Diagnostic (IVD) field,
- a 2 years experience at least as a Product Manager or sales specialist in IVD or 3 years experience in a related laboratory field, with complementary commercial experience
- Knowledge of the coagulation and haematology business and its competitive landscape is necessary and some understanding of POC, automation and Data Managers would be a bonus.
- Influential and excellent communication skills (written and spoken) to liaise with stakeholders will be required, including with scientific Key Opinion Leaders to convince them of the excellence of Stago’s products.
- Innovative and creative thinking would be appreciated, as well as the ability to analyse, simplify, and summarise complex topics.
- A knowledge of managing digital marketing media and related tools would be highly appreciated.
- A high degree of knowledge and skills with Microsoft 365 apps and services for business would be advantageous
We are looking for an individual who will work well with a small international team; be adaptable and comfortable with change while able to bring a strong team ethic. All communication will be in English and should be spoken fluently, a second language would be appreciated (French, Chinese, Japanese, etc.).
This full-time position will be based at our Australian head office in Forest Hill (Greater Melbourne area) with some travel in the Asia Pacific Region and to Europe to be expected. In this role, you will be reporting to the BU Marketing Manager. Training in Haemostasis / Haematology and on the products will be provided as required.
